Untraceable{The Nature of Grace #1}

Do you have that secret wish to get away from all the worries and hurdles of daily life? Want an adventurous getaway in the forests and blend into it’s wildlife? But have no skills in wildlife survival? Then this is definitely the book to read!

By S.R.Johannes

16-year-old Grace has lived in the Smokies all her life, patrolling with her forest ranger father who taught her about wildlife, tracking, and wilderness survival.

When her dad goes missing on a routine patrol, Grace refuses to believe he’s dead and fights the town authorities, tribal officials, and nature to find him.

One day, while out tracking clues, Grace is rescued from danger by Mo, a hot guy with an intoxicating accent and a secret. As her feelings between him and her ex-boyfriend get muddled, Grace travels deep into the wilderness to escape and find her father.

Along the way, Grace learns terrible secrets that sever relationships and lives. Soon she’s enmeshed in a web of conspiracy, deception, and murder. And it’s going to take a lot more than a compass and a motorcycle (named Lucifer) for this kick-butting heroine to save everything she loves.

My Take:

Really really good book after a very long time! I received this book by the author from netgalley .
My sincere apologies for not reading this a little early but now that I have I have a lot of good things to tell about this.

This is such a good book because it has absolutely everything one can hope for.
Starting off with-
1.A Strong female character who actually has a bike named Lucifer.
2.A very unhelpful situation, placing our protagonist to fend for her own
3.Protect wildlife theme! lot of bears die in this story so have a strong heart
4.fantastic twists and turns
5.Writing style is so appealing and easy to read. It makes one love the characters. Also there is family involvement which again shows the overall growth of the character and adds more brightness to the plot.
6. A really unexpected end which is a no-softening-any-blows-to-guts baffling!
7. Finally the survival skills in each chapter!
Also the dry humor, the romance, the character depth is well brought out that there is no way one can put this book down. It’s a gripping story indeed. The story covers a meaningful, real life problem that is a disease plaguing the whole world-poaching and animal torture. The mystery, suspense and the whole package of emotions together make this book an amazing read.

{I actually imagined Jennifer Lawrence in Grace’s place. Then suddenly it seems very similar to Hunger Games. But beware, it’s not a dystopian fantasy. This is set in present and is very much related to the problems of current situation.}

A total of 4/5 stars!!

Call me an owl, a worm or even a book parasite, for all those names define me! Along with an immense love for books, I also love music, though I don't play any instrument or sing. Cooking and travelling are other things that I absolutely love.
